Custom Silk Blouse Development & Production Process
Docsun supports both ready-to-ship silk blouse orders and custom OEM/ODM blouse development. The photos below show some of the key stages involved in turning a blouse design into a finished silk garment.
1. Design & Requirements Review
Please send us your style reference, pattern files, sketches, screenshots, size chart, preferred fabric, colour or print requirements, label details, packaging ideas and estimated order quantity.
MOQ: 50 pieces per design (This can be in various sizes, e.g. size XS/S/M/L/XL of 10 pieces each.)
For stock or existing styles, we can usually provide a quotation within 3–5 business days. For fully customised designs, quotation normally takes around 7–10 business days depending on the complexity of the style, fabric and finishing requirements.
2. Fabric, Colour & Technical Confirmation
We help confirm the most suitable silk fabric, momme weight, colour, print method and construction details. For silk blouses, common choices include silk crepe satin, silk double crepe, silk double georgette, stretch silk satin and other custom silk fabrics.

3. Pattern Checking & Sample Making
After the design details are confirmed, our sample room checks the pattern, reviews the sewing construction and prepares the first sample. For most silk blouse projects, the first pre-production sample is usually completed within 10 business days.
If the style includes custom printing, custom dyeing, special fabric development or customised packaging, extra time may be needed before the sample is ready.
4. Sample Review & Adjustment
Once the sample is finished, we review the fit, fabric performance, sewing details and finishing. If any changes are needed, adjustments can be made before moving into bulk production.
5. Bulk Production & Quality Check
Bulk production starts after the sample, MOQ, price and final details are confirmed. Finished silk blouses are checked before shipping to support stable quality for wholesale, retail and private-label orders.
Ready-to-ship blouse styles may be suitable for small-batch testing. For fully customised silk blouse projects, the usual MOQ is 150 pieces per colour, depending on the design and fabric choice.
