Style 1: Silk Shirt Dress / Tunic (2209001 & 2209006)
This style group covers relaxed silk shirt dresses and tunic-style dresses with a clean button-front structure. Both designs are suitable for loungewear, resort wear, daywear or private-label silk apparel collections. They can be worn as standalone dresses or styled as lightweight outer layers, depending on length, fabric and styling.
Style 2209006 (top row in the picture) has a softer tunic-style silhouette, with a point collar, full-length sleeves, drop shoulders, a full button placket, shirred patch pockets, back yoke gathering and gathered cuffs. It gives a looser, more fluid look while keeping the practical shirt-dress structure.
Style 2209001 (bottom row in the picture) has a more classic shirt-dress look, with a notched lapel collar, half sleeves, contrast piping, side slits, patch pockets and an optional waist belt. The shape is relaxed but still polished, making it suitable for both casual and refined collections.

Custom Silk Dress Development, MOQ & Lead Time
Docsun supports both ready-to-ship silk dress orders and full custom development for brands, designers and private-label clients. You can work from one of our existing styles, adjust a current design, or develop a new silk dress based on your own pattern, sketch or reference image.
Customisation options include fabric selection, colour matching, custom printing, size grading, neckline and sleeve adjustments, length changes, labels, logo application and packaging.
How the Process Works
1. Send us your requirements
Please share the style reference, pattern files, sketches, screenshots, colour or print files, size chart, logo requirements, packaging ideas and estimated order quantity. If you are still developing the idea, you can also send reference images and we can discuss the best way to create the sample.
MOQ: 50 pieces per design (This can be in various sizes, e.g. size XS/S/M/L/XL of 10 pieces each.)
2. Technical review and quotation
Our team will review the design details and confirm the most suitable fabric, construction method, sizing and customisation options.

More complex custom designs may need extra time depending on fabric, printing and construction requirements
3. Sample development
For most silk apparel projects, the first sample takes around 5–10 working days. If the design includes special printing, custom colour development or customised packaging, please allow an extra 5–7 working days.
4. Bulk order confirmation
After the sample is approved, we confirm all technical details before production, including fabric, colour, size ratio, quantity per size, label position, packaging and shipping requirements.
5. Bulk production and inspection
Bulk production starts after all final details are confirmed. Finished garments are checked before shipping to support consistent quality for wholesale, retail and private-label orders.
Ready-to-ship silk dress styles may be available for sample orders or small-quantity testing. For fully customised apparel, the usual MOQ is 150 pieces per colour and 30 pieces per size, depending on the design and fabric choice.
